Seyyed (Taha) is mainly interested in researching in the field of Electromagnetic Processing of Material, dealing with low and high electrical conductive materials. He began working in the High Power Engineering Laboratory in Electrical Engineering in the summer of 2006, where he designed and implemented a high power RF generator for pest control of food items (national patent). Shortly after this period, he continued his investigations in the field of Liquid Metal MHD in KU Leuven. During his Ph.D. he developed an experimental system of magnetic force inducer to affect liquid metals. Moreover he participated in SPACETRIPS project, funded and conducted by ESA (European Space Agency) to design a Thermoacoustic-MHD generator for space missions. Seyyed (Taha) also supervised four master theses during this period. His current project at APAM is on stabilizing the free surface of the liquid metal flows by the electromagnetic forces.
